I am watching channel 11... There was a plane crash from LaGuardia airport into the Hudson River... a US Airways flight 1549 from LaGuardia to Charlotte NC I hope and pray for anyone that has perished, and the plane is in the water with the front stciking out, it didnt explode so I'm hoping there are survivors...

I know!! my friend just told me through email but i work right on 55th St & first on the east side and the plane went down around 57th st. We didn't hear anything hear.. no cops or sirens.

There are a bunch of ferries and coast guard stuff over there, hopefully there will be survivors...

its a commercial plane but there were still 147 passengers on it
the plane looks intact but i hope nothing happens to anyone from the water temp

looks like they landed for a reason since the plane is still in tact....it just suck the water is freeeeeeeeeeeeeezing....

I read it was a failed take off. And There seems to be standing on the wings of the plane so it appear there are suvivors.

They said when the plane took off they hit a flock of birds and started to go down... The pilot basically easily grace landed the plane into the water and great news EVERYONE SURVIVED... as being reported by CW11 News

From the photos online, it looks like they were getting everyone off. The plane was just sitting in the water floating so the ferry, some water taxis, and other people came to help evacuate them.
