Re: Planner - Binder???

I got a mead folder with binder rings, and put in about 30 sheet protecter's and slipped in copies and magazine cutouts of everything i loved. That was my insipiaration book and I took it with me to meet with various vendors, like my florist and the stationer.

Then I got a accordian file with a handle that has loads of sections and a file tab on top and just filed every contract and receipt. Everything from my venue, and dress receipts, to the applications for apartments...

I just made up my own using a binder form CVS.

ETA: At first it was just all inspiration photos- clipped from magazines or printed from the computer. Then as I started booking vendors I'd put copies of my contract in there so I'd always have them on me but the originals were safely at home.

Wow, thank you all for responding! Binder it is! Everything everyone responded makes such sense to use a binder.

Thanks again!

I think this is what I am going to do too, I posted something about this the other day and went to the store to find something and there were things in those planners that I don't think I would use..... I am going to pick up a binder and make my own sections etc!

Can someone post a list of the sections you made? I figured the usual vendors... what else is there ?

I have two (The brides essential wedding planner and Bride's wedding planner)

I mainly use a notebook and use the planners to think of questions, track what I need
