Planners/Organizers

Being somewhat OCD, I love things to be organized. I have a few wedding excel spreadsheets on my computer. One is guests lists (Shower Rehearsal & Wedding), budget & then deposits. I was wondering if anyone has actually been using a real binder? As we book more vendors it is going to get confusing as to how much our next deposit is, when it is due & the balances.

Does anyone have any suggestions and or advice on how they are staying organized? I would hate to go to staples & spend money making a binder only to realize it was a dumb idea lol.

Thanks ladies!

I have a binder planner that's more informational with checklists and questions to ask vendors and whatnot. I got it on amazon and it also serves as a keepsake book with all the info about your day. Paperwork wise (contracts, receipts, etc.) I plan to use an accordion folder. HTH :)

ETA: The Very Best Wedding Planner Organizer and Keepsake from Wedspace was the one I bought. FH and I went to Barnes and Noble and spent an hour going through planners before we decided which one and then I got it for $15 cheaper on amazon!

Omg yes!! My wedding binder is my life. I bought the Mindy Weiss one, but you could easily make your own. I bought a bunch of plastic sleeves and that's where all my contracts go. Also a plastic sleeve that holds business cards for when you meet vendors.

Super OCD as well with organizating... My FH actually created a binder for me, just your typical school binder that we had around the house, added some folders and divders and I did all of the labeling and sorting and what not... Super helpful, especially when you need to reference back to something...
