Planning a NY wedding from Canada - HELP!

Hello,

My FI and I are thinking about planning a very small wedding in Manhattan and I'm looking for some ideas on where we could have the ceremony. The date will probably be Feb. 13th '10. I've been reading that the location of justice of the peace weddings are gorgeous now that the building has been renovated but I can't seem to find any pictures to determine the definition of gorgeous :) Can anyone else offer any other ideas for about 30 ppl?

There's a beautiful non-denominational church in Columbia University. It's stunning! You may want to look into that. The Brooklyn Museum has receptions, not sure if they also do ceremonies. Everything else that's coming to mind are outdoor spaces, which wouldn't be best for Feb in NY!

I'm assuming that you're talking about the renovations done at the marriage bureau in City Hall?
