Planting Fields Arboretum

Has anyone had their ceremony at Planting Fields? How was it? What was the cost?

Re: Planting Fields Arboretum

I'm going to call them because I am interested in it for my ceremony. I'll post prices and info once I call.

Re: Planting Fields Arboretum

We took pictures there and I believe it was like $125. You can do a search under the Brides Review to find a bunch of my proofs.

Re: Planting Fields Arboretum

UPDATE:

I just called Planting Fields and spoke with Debbie who told me that to get married inside the Coe Hall museum, there is a fee of $1500 plus a refundable fee of $200 for floral clean-up if you need it (if you don't, you will get the $200 back) and the maximum number of guests is 125.

That's a little too high for me. I think I may just save $1000 and get married at my hall.

I'm going to call the Parks Dept. now to price the outdoor wedding ceremony. They can only accomodate 40 people though.

Re: Planting Fields Arboretum

UPDATE AGAIN:

I called the Parks Dept. and spoke with some very rude Irish woman who was very reluctant to give me any information.

But anyway, she said the maximum is 40 people, and there is a $300 fee plus a 'chair charge' of $2 per chair. It is in the rose gardens on the side of the manor (?) and there is no altar or decoration provided.
