I have a ruler out and am trying to visualize the size, but am coming up with thinking the 6' is too slim for width. Or then is the 8' too wide? I am so not a visualizer.

I ordered 18x6 - shorter last name. I think the 6 is a good width...if you e-mail her she can give you her recommendation.

Yeah - our last name is 5 letters so we got the smaller one and it looks amazing!!!!!

Maybe I'm just a crazy bride...but I kinda want one of the bigger sizes. Our last name only has 5 letters, but I just like the way it looks in a larger size. Plus, I think I may want to put it on the mantle in the Somerley room, so I want it to stand out. I also thought about ordering a smaller one...am I nuts?!
