Plastic Surgery Question

Hey girls! My mom is looking into getting a breast reduction (and maybe a little eye work) and was all set to have it done on 2/27, but a few people told her that the doctor she booked with is a 'butcher'. Can anyone recommend a good surgeon? If you don't want it to be public, you can FM me.

She wants to have it done within the next month so that she will still have enough time to go dress shopping after she heals.

Hey and if you don't mind send their name and number my way haha I am due for a nose job! in all seriousness though I really want one because I have a deviated septum from getting hit in the nose with a bat at 5 yrs old and it is slightly crooked. but I am TOO SCARED haha

i havent had plastic surgery , well not yet at least but PLEASE have her do ALOT of research...its more important she did enough research before going rather than having the operation within a month.

My suggestion is first checking to see which surgeons are experts for the particular procedures your mom wants. For example, a facelift doc can be more known than the others bc of his work in new york. Same with breast, see which ones are at the top of their game in new york...check certifications, if they are members of boards.

i have someone i can recommend in manhattan on madison avenue(no his prices arent higher bc of this either) but he comes highly recommended. Hes even done alot of shows to talk about procedures, been on the news and all that...if you want let me know. Again, i havent personally used him so i cant speak from my behalf about his work.

she said she did but I really don't think so... because all you have to do i look up this doctors name on google with the word malpractice after it and you can find complaints about him.

My sister had a breast reduction and used Dr. Glickman in Garden City. He did a wonderful job... she healed up nicely and quickly.

That is so awesome that your mom wants to get a breast reduction! I got one about two years ago and used Dr. McLaughlin, she is in Wantagh and I loved her. I felt so comfortable with her. I also was able to get it covered under insurance since I had back problems. If you have any questions let me know, I would do it again in a heart beat if i had to! The scars aren't even that bad!!!
