Hey girls! My mom is looking into getting a breast reduction (and maybe a little eye work) and was all set to have it done on 2/27, but a few people told her that the doctor she booked with is a 'butcher'. Can anyone recommend a good surgeon? If you don't want it to be public, you can FM me.
She wants to have it done within the next month so that she will still have enough time to go dress shopping after she heals.

My sister used Gregory J. Diehl, M.D. for her nose job a few years ago. He also does breast reduction/augmentation, face lifts, etc. She did her research and after going to a few other people, she said she felt most comfortable with him. I did meet him, he was very nice and knowledgeable. Her surgery went off without a hitch and she said if she ever had anything else done she would definately go to him again. He is located in Port Jeff.

Danielle I know how to check if someone was involved in prior lawsuits or is involved in a pending suit. If you narrow it down to a few docs, FM me and I'll help you see what the malpractice history is for them.

I think there also might be a way to search online if a group or practicioner has had malpractice suits brought against them. I know that is not always the best indicator but it could help you out. I will try and find more info on that. Will let you know if I find anything!

i used Dr. Landsman in Smithtown - I did a lot of research - went to see about 5 different docs -
