When we discussed wedding bands, FH told me that he doesn't want a plain band or anything with diamonds, preferrably in platinum. So I had shown FH a picture of a celtic wedding band that I though he might like because it was different and FH loved the idea of a celtic wedding band.
So now the problem is that I don't really feel comfortable ordering something for him online that A) I have not seen in person, B) is not from a company I have heard of, or C) FH hasn't physically tried on his finger and said 'Yes I like this'.
Does anyone know of a website that sells platinum mens celtic wedding bands that is reputable or does anyone know any stores in LI or NYC that sells celtic wedding bands?

Try the diamond district in Manhattan. There's so many shops there, I'm sure you'll be able to find someone who has lots of celtic styles for your FH to look at and try on.

Kathleen's of Donegal, it's an Irish store in Rockville Centre. I have always gone there for all my claddaugh/Irish rings, and you can see them and then order it in your size. I really like their selection. They're located on Park Ave. between Merrick Rd. and Sunrise Hwy. (near all the bars). I highly recommend them and have gotten some really nice jewelry from her over the years!
ETA - All her stuff is imported from Ireland, so some stuff she has in stock and others will be ordered but it's all genuine stuff!

DH got his band on bluenile.com and the quality was just amazing. They have tons and tons of different designs, including some gorgeous celtic ones. I would honestly recommend looking on there. It's not that big a deal to order them online as long as you can size him right, and for platinum it seems like you can't get a better deal than on that website.

but I looked on Bluenile.com and I didn't really find anything celtic (unless they are more $$ than we were looking spend because I only searched for rings up to a certain amount of $$).
