Re: Please Help
come join us in the 2013 board, were always looking for new girls!
My advice, instead of just saying go to the Sand Castle (my RH, I love it), is go out and buy the NY wedding sites and services magazine/book. They have it online but i liked having the paper version in my hand. Go through it with your FH and mark down which you want to go visit. Thats what I did and I saw like 6 or so places before i walked it the SC and stoped my search. Some girls go to 30 places, some know right off the bat with their first. You have time, enjoy your hunt!

I second the Riviera which is located in Massapequa! I am getting married there next May and I wanted all of the things you mentioned.
I must have gone to 15 venues on the Island and when I walked into the Riviera I just knew this was the place. They have a huge outdoor patio for cocktail hour and a beautiful room for the reception.
Call and ask for Michelle, she is awesome and tell her Marlo sent you :)
I third this. I just got married there last month and it was PERFECT. The outdoor area is just gorgeous, and the outdoor CH area is very large!
I also worked with Michele who I love!
edited to add: there are some non pro pics in my album of the outdoor areas if you want to see!

I agree, you would be the only wedding there, and it's on the water and in your price range
