Hey guys I have all my plans set for my wedding and I have told all my bridesmaids how much hair and makeup is going to cost. All of the girls were okay with the cost. Now all of a sudden one of my bridesmaids who are getting married next year(which this only just happend) is saying that she thinks it is rediculous how much money it is. She is saying that I should be paying for all of that not her. I don't know what to do. I am such an easy going bride as it was I let all the girls pick out their own dresses as long as it stayed within what I wanted. I also spent alot of money on each of them for the bridesmaid gifts. Please let me know if your bridesmaids or you paid for the hair and make-up to get done? Thank you SOOOOOO Much!

I'm not paying for their hair or makeup..
but they're also not obligated to get it professionally done.. it's their choice.

I did not pay for their hair/makeup. I gave my girls the option of using my salon or their own, only my Matron of Honor used my people and everyone else went to another salon.
You are not obligated to pay for their hair/makeup; it can be a bridesmaid gift but you do not have to go out of the way to pay for them.

My bridesmaids will be paying for themselves. THIS IS STANDARD!!!! However, I am not forcing them to get their hair and makeup done. If they want to do it themselves I am ok with that. It can become an expensive proposition and I understand that not all of my bridesmaids are financially stable. BUT REMEMBER IT IS STANDARD THAT A BRIDESMAID PAY FOR THEMSELVES.
