Original post by nov.bride

Whats the best way to clean them? We have a couple of themthat have these little brown spots on them and DH is telling me NOT to use brillo pads.

I have tried the scrubbie plastic like side of the sponge but I don't know what woprks best and don't want to ruin them.

What do you use? PLease help- thanks

Another cleaner like Bar Keeper's Friend is Bon Ami. It used to be one of the items on the Price is Right all the time, and I never had any idea what it was!

I have Cuisinart stainless steel pots we had this issue so I Checekld teh brochure that came with it & they reccomned Bon Ami ( DH didn't know what it was either )

They also reccomed some process of heating water in the pot/pan to clean it. . .I haven't done it but DH syas it helps. Also, the brown spots are natural, & not 'dirt' I think it is fine to leave them, but they aren't pretty, so you can clean them.

Yep that's de-glazing.
