OK - less the a month before the wedding and I don't think I have a hair person anymore - my normal hair person wants to charge me $265 for just hair because of travel, etc. - she has done my hair for 20 years!!! I am bugging and now want to call other people but as you know - I am getting married soon!!! Please let me know who you are using, or used, phone number, if they did you girls too, and price. Thank you thank you!!!
Is it me - or is the price my girl wants to charge ridiculous?? She was quite defensive too when I told her I thought that was high

Is that including the hair trial with her? I am not familiar with prices but it does sound a bit high to me. I don't know anyone in your area but I wish you luck in finding someone for your hair.

$265 is very out of control if it is just for you (who do you go to )

That's SO high...!!!
I have a hair trial tonight so I will post pics and let you know how it goes...
I think most vendors charge about $75 to $100 for hair... thats just an average...
did you post on the venodr board to see if anyone is not booked?

That is out of control! Is she traveling from another state? That is the only way I could say maybe that price is OK but even then I don't know.

you can try jennifer from fairytale makeovers.....she charged $100 for my hair...and she traveled to the hotel the morning of to do my hair!

When my sister got married, she was charged about 100. The woman traveled to the hotel to do the hair.

My point exactly - especially since my family followed her around through different salons and stuff. I am having a trial on Wed (before my second fitting) and the place is not too far from my house so I can make them my new hairdressers if I like it!

That sucks!!! I hope that your trial goes well and that price is way too high!!!
I used Elena and she came to me...she is a vendor on the board. I think it's between $75 and $100 for hair and makeup, I am not sure how much for hair alone.
