yeah we both teach there...he doesnt mind it too much cause his school is smaller and he teachs a younger grade...but i have some nutty kids in my school so im dying to get out!!! where do u teach? if its Long island..ive applyed everyhwere already lol

no way!!! no one yet...but my cousin is going into 6th grade next year! (is that the same district as hewlett? cause i swear my uncle said it was hewlett she was going to)

I teach in Hewlett-woodmere. What are you certified in? My cousin is an asst. principal in brooklyn somewhere. I commute everyday from Farmingville to Hewlett-Woodmere. . .UGH

Do you know what elem. school? I used to teach in Ogden elem. school in Hewlett. there are only 2 elem. schools.

thats where i was today! lol i actually went there by accident..i had an interview with a valley stream school...and i guess i went the wrong way on mill road..and somehow i ended up by franklin ave (which is like 2 blocks from where my aunt and uncle live) so i ended up just stopping by since i was there LOL but the train runs pretty much right behind there house

You were right by the yogart shop. Today was my first time there. If you continue down Franklin and cross over the train tracks it's the first left b4 you pass the fire house

i feel like im posting a millino times in arow lol so look back to see if u missed any LOL but yeah i booked with them..its www.velvetstudios.com i thought duet and velvet were both great..but velvet offered no tax if i payed in cash..and that def saves some money!

Where in Farmingville did you live? I just moved in w/ FH last summer. He originally grew up in Valley Stream but went to Hewlett-woodmere schools. He began house huntind b4 me in babylon where I am from. he couldn't find anything he liked for the amount of money he wanted to spend. He found this house and it's awesome on a lot of land. i just hate being all the way out here

It's possible I may know her. I worked at Ogden my first year. I am a speech teacher so not all the kids know me. I am at the middle school for only one period. Since H-W has such a big Jewish population they send me into the yeshivas w/ in the 5 towns to service the district kids. I spoend a lot of time in my car

My FMIL works the security desk in the WMS. your cousin will know her. Everybody that goes into the middle school kids, parents all know her and love her. She is a little italian woman.

ohh i do remember talking to u about this! i lived right by the farmingville firhouse off of horseblock rd..my FH grew up in valley stream too but not the same school district...its so much cheaper in suffolk but we cant move out there yet cause suffolk to brooklyn would seriously kill us lol..i actually am hoping to convince FH to move down south somewhere cause i really hate how much it costs here...on both of our salarys (both teachers) we dont see a house anywhere near in our future..i dont even think we can afford a condo or coop..its just too expensive...it seriously stinks to both have almost our masters and decent jobs and not be able to afford anything! uhh lol

aww well her name is Kat (kathryn) shes is the weetest girl ever haha and im not jsut saying that cause shes my cousin cause i have some crazy ones too lol but FH and i take her and her little sister out sometimes and i mean ive never seen such a polite sweet girl! so im sure ur fmil will love her haha

I hear you. Thank god FH was a saver before me b/c I can't save anything and I was making more than him. I lived in an APT. above my parents house and I use to complain about that. If you want send me your resume and I'll hand it in for you. My district starts at 54,000 fresh out of undergrad w/ no extra credits
