that is absolutely unbelievable that she can make it to a wedding only ONE day a year. Like someone else said, to avoid drama, I'd make it the day before. I'd be aggrivated also, how ridiculous.

I think that you could push it up a few weeks and still do a Fall theme bc in most peoples minds sept is Fall...also you can push it into Nov is needed...the temps are similar it was 65 the day I got married (or somewhere around there it felt HOT lol) HTH

If you want a Fall wedding, you could have it in later October. It really doesn't get too cold in October as we all noticed. I think it's BS that these people made their wedding date the same as yours when you already had that date in mind. I swear, some people are crazy!

Well good thing it worked out but we are in November and I still have not put on a winter coat, it's been in the 60's all week, so I think Fall weather lasts until mid-end Nov

Since you don't have anything booked, why don't you just start looking at RHs. When you find one you like, see what their availability is. We wanted to get married in October but the place we loved only had 2 dates available from Sept-end of Nov. That made our decision easier.

I wouldn't stress about the date until you fall in love with a venue.

yikes.that's rough unfortunately with weddings, annoying pet peeves like this happen. my advice?? DO NOT let it rob ur joy! and honestly, i'd move ur day a little later! u have ur heart set on a fall wedding and to be honest - peak time for follaige & gorgous leaves is actually more towards november! DO NOT worry about the cold..i got married in december and was so worried about freezing my tushy off and i was freakin' SWEATING! lol..i guess it's the cross of big dress/running around/adrenaline... ANYWAYS, i know right now it's bothering u, but in the end when all is said and done u'll be happy no matter what a matter of a few weeks really wont make a huge difference when it all comes down to it... and like i said - peak time for ur fall setting is more towards the beggining of november anyway! and just think - things could always be worse...imagine if u had already booked..
