Please help me pick a bridal suite in nassau!! any suggestions????

I have talked to my mom, and she said she is fine with getting ready in a suite the day of the wedding with the rest of the girls. I have already called Garden City hotel, and they have a really big suite, two seperate rooms, two bathrooms, and it is 650 a night!! ha. Does anyone know somewhere just as nice for cheaper? Or, is that worth it because it is GC? I am looking for a place which would serve as a nice backdrop for getting ready photos, etc.

Thanks Girls!!

I'm not sure where your church/reception is but what about the Inn at Fox Hollow? Or the Melville Hilton? or Uniondale MArriott? Fox HOllow would be beautiful for pictures, too I think...the others aren't are picturesque (sp?) You're getting married two days before we are!!!!

My wedding night bridal package suite at the Inn at Fox Hollow was the same price as some regular hotel rooms on the island. FM me if you want price and info.

Re: Please help me pick a bridal suite in nassau!! any suggestions????

I stayed at the Claremont and looked at the suites, but decided against it and just got a regular room. the suites are beautiful there, but it is 2 seperate rooms, and neither one is really much larger than a regular room. My rationale for getting a suite was to have a very roomy space in which to get ready.

I chose the Claremont because it was close to my hall and it was easy for us to get back there after the wedding. If I had to do it over, though, I think I would have stayed at the Wingate Inn in Garden City. The suite there was HUGE and I think I would have preferred staying there. The Claremont had a wedding going on the night before mine and I got very little sleep because of the noise until 3 AM - this was not the case on my wedding night, but I really needed the sleep the night before the wedding!

Re: Please help me pick a bridal suite in nassau!! any suggestions????

The Fox Hollow Inn was wonderful. I actually arrived early & took all my getting ready pictures there with my family and then spent the wedding night there as well in the honeymoon suite. They charged $189 for a beautiful room with a little kitchen and lounge area.
Theres plenty of spots for pictures. Every floor has a fire place and lounge area in the lobbys so if the main lobby has people you can go to the next level. They also have a beautiful back patio with a fountain.

Check out the Inn at Plainview. There Bridal Suite is great. Nice Studio, with large jacuzzi that is seperate from the bathroom. Bathroom is all marble and glass enclosed shower. So pretty!!!! and for your future husband...it's got one of those huge flat screen tv's.....not that he should care about that on your wedding night. HA HA HA
