Please help me- Wedding day pics at Water Taxi Beach!

Girls, FH and I both want photos with Manhattan as the backdrop....unfortunately, our dream location (Dumbo) is logistically impossible.

We have come up with a great alternative- Water Taxi Beach!!!! I figure we will take photos from 5:45- 6:45 (sunset is 6:59 for our date and twilight ends at 7:30) and head to the RH.

Can you girls please suggest what 'props' will make for amazing and fun photos? We have a big bridal party and think we can do lots of fun stuff with our location. Thanks for your help! Here's the venue:

One pic you can do is maybe having the GM's sit on top of the picnic tables like they are having a conversation.

do u want all props or some photo ideas just using the bp?

like for example..the guys all with the jackets haning over one side of their shoulders

im going to try to thinkof more..give me a few

Just watchin out but did you get clearabnce to shoot there?

You girls are SO helpful!

I have permission to shoot there....the management was really cool about it. I'm making a donation to a local charity as the fee. How awesome?!

I LOVE the props you girls are throwing out! I'll get cute flip flops my 'maids! I'm thinking a photo of the guys grabbing beers at the hut? Maybe those beach buckets for my flowergirls and ring bearers.

might be corny but what if the held up a surfboard with ur date n names on it..like all held it above their heads.....u could def all lean on the surfboards..

THANK YOU! FH will LOVE that- he took surfing lessons and idolizes Sandy Cohen (from the OC). I think that might be tough to fit into the limo....I'll find a Boogie Board or something similar. LOL, we're definitely the fun corny couple- this is right up our alley!

I thought Water Taxi closes after labor day?

Starting May 3rd Water Taxi Beach will be open every Saturday and Sunday, weather permitting. Our 2008 Grand Opening is on Thursday May 22nd. That is the start of Memorial Day Weekend. Water Taxi Beach will remain open until Columbus Day Weekend. During the season we will remain open rain or shine except for heavy weather.

This year we will be open 7-days-a-week. Mon-Tues @ 6pm to 10pm. Wed-Friday at 4pm. Saturday’s at Noon and Sunday's at 1pm. Holiday Weekend Monday's will have a 1pm opening. Sunday's we will close at 10pm.

Private and semi-private events can be booked from May 1st until October 31st.

If we are closing for heavy weather or other reasons, we will announce that at 2pm daily on our home page, and as a bulletin on our MySpace.com page.

I am taking pictures at Gantry Park which is next door.
