Please help. Need ideas/options

Ok, we've decided that we are going to have a combination - bachelor/bachelorette/bridal party dinner/my 30th birthday party - the middle of March. (About 5 weeks before the wedding)

There will be 3 children under age 10 and 7-10 adults at the party. So I was thinking having it at Strikes or Dave and Busters or Jillians, or some place like that, so EVERYONE can enjoy themselves. (Obviously, no strippers will be allowed.)

We will be giving the bridal party their gifts at this time too.

So, are these places good ideas? Any other ideas on what we can do? Is it okay to combine things like this?

Re: Please help. Need ideas/options

Your FH wants to do a combo party? Mine would laugh at me!

I wouldnt want to either because I want to PARTY! I dont get many nights to have a girls night out and after the wedding I would feel guilty going to a strip club or wherever so I am looking forward to mine.

Re: Please help. Need ideas/options

Well, the truth is I can't can't afford the party I want. I want to go to either vegas or Orlando, but I know my girls cant afford it. He doesn't really want a party, so he thought this was a great idea. Neither of us are into strip clubs.

The only way you want to have a bachelorette party is to go away? Manhattan is so close, you could have a BLAST!

Re: Please help. Need ideas/options

All I am really saying is that there are TONS of other options besides travelling for your BP and the words bachelor/bachelorette party give me the creeps when used in the same sentence as little kids.

Plus I want my FH to have a really good time with his guy friends and I want to dance my butt off!

Re: Please help. Need ideas/options

What time would the party be? I only ask because I know Jillians and Strikes wont let children or anyone enter under the age of 21 after 9pm.

It would be early in the day, ending at around 8 pm. The kids have to go to bed early anyway, so that is perfect. I didn't know that though, so thanks for that diva.
