ok, so i'm starting to 2nd guess my choice of everyday dishes. it doesn't help that the pattern has been discontinued by the store that used to have the whole pattern ... and the other store only has the 5 piece placesettings.
i'd love to see what patterns you ladies picked ... and if you don't mind telling me what its called and where you registered for it too ...
ETA: here is a pic of the ones we registered for. we've already received 5 placesettings from our e-party ... but none of the other pieces, which now can only be bought from mikasa direclty:

We registered for the Diner Dinnerware Starter Set from Crate & Barrell. We wanted something simple that would mix with the china registered for.
its butlers pantry by lenox i love it so much, they have a lot of other styles to and you can mix and match, there not expensive and there from italy!!
Fiestaware!! It's old school and I love it! I got one of each color place setting. They are very durable, bright and inexpensive. I actually have 6 place settings already from when I moved into my first apartment, so I registered at Macy's for the rest. I think they are the only store that carries them!

I have these too and we LOVE, LOVE LOVE them. I got 2 place settings in Scarlet, 2 in turquoise, 2 in tangerine and 2 in Sunflower. I love it cause although they are 4 different colors, we can mix and match.... like a red bowl with a blue plate and a yellow mug. love it!
