ok, so i'm starting to 2nd guess my choice of everyday dishes. it doesn't help that the pattern has been discontinued by the store that used to have the whole pattern ... and the other store only has the 5 piece placesettings.
i'd love to see what patterns you ladies picked ... and if you don't mind telling me what its called and where you registered for it too ...
ETA: here is a pic of the ones we registered for. we've already received 5 placesettings from our e-party ... but none of the other pieces, which now can only be bought from mikasa direclty:

Fiestaware!! It's old school and I love it! I got one of each color place setting. They are very durable, bright and inexpensive. I actually have 6 place settings already from when I moved into my first apartment, so I registered at Macy's for the rest. I think they are the only store that carries them!
Here is the 4-piece place setting in the color- Scarlet.
Us too! I love it because it has been around foreever and will continue to be so if you break a plate, it's easy enough to buy a new one. NO crazy worry about tracking it down.
MAcys's carries them BUT so does LinensNThings AND their everyday price is cheaper than Macy's. MACYS is ONLY cheaper if they go on sale and you have coupons. Learned that the hard way :(
But we have them in red, two shades of orange and yellow. Love em.
Thanks so much for this post! I just changed my registry from macy's to Linens & Things I called my MOH and she said there is still time beofre the invotes go out! Woohoo!

Anytime. I did a MAcys registry and linens and just put diff stuff but yea I think if you look online, Fiestaware at Linens is like 19 bucks a setting and twice that at Maycs normally.
