My dad asked me the other day if I had picked a song yet..so I wanted to maybe make a CD of some good songs and give it to him to see which one he likes! So please tell me what song you're going with so I can get some ideas! Thanks!!

I loved her first-you can listen to a short clip if you're impatient :) from bestbuy.com-they let you hear excerpts of each song on a CD-PERFECT lyrics. My dad actually told my FH one day (before I chose song) and I happened to overhear 'You know I loved her first before you knew her, so if you ever get tired of her or decide you cant work it out, just bring her home and we will always take her back.'
So it just FITS!

Peteysbride - what your dad said is so touching... I would've shed a tear if I overheard that... (eh but I'm just an emotional kinda gal lol) definitely your choice of song is perfect
My father/daughter song... not sure yet.. my dad will probably want it to be italian though since my family is off the boat... probably 'figlia mia'
