Please pray

Just learned some rather unfortunate news

My FIL's cousin (who we are very close with), has been diagnosed with advanced colon cancer, with the cancer spreading throughout her body.

Apparently, she has known for a while but didn;t want anyone to know. She is not going for treatment because she does not want to suffer and the doctors told her that this would only delay the inevitable. They're only giving her a couple of months. Apparently, she is at peace with this and is ready to go, if that's the way it is.

She's going in for surgery to remove the actual blockage in a couple of weeks -- hopefully, we'll hear different and better news, but right now it doesn't seem that way

I'm so sorry to hear this. Let it be comforting that she has made her peace with this. I will keep you and your family in my prayers

OMG - My prayers go out to you and your family, my pop-pop died of this when I was young. I feel so awful for her right now.
