My prayers are with your FI's family and cousin and her family. I will keep you all in my prayers.

My family is going throuhg the same thing right now and I know exactly what you are going through. My father was diagnosed in January with Esophageal Cancer. As I type this, I am in the City staying with my Mom while my Dad has surgery for his cancer to remove his esophagus.

Please know that I will keep you all in my prayers and have FAITH! You never know!

well, we found out more on this and it's not any better -- apprently the cancer is at stage 4, which is very advanced and she had an MRI which shows the cancer did spread. The surgery is next Saturday, June 5. Its purpose is to ease the pain a bit, but basically everyone's given up hope

still unclear as to how long she knew about this or let it progress before getting it checked out
