Please pray for my cat UPDATED
I've had katie since she was born in my garage in 1991. She has some kind of pancreas and/or kidney problems. We just had to put her sister to sleep. I'm bringing her to the vet this afternoon, and I really hope they can give her some kind of medicine and I don't have to put her to sleep. We already lost 2 cats this month, and I've had katie since I was 9 years old, and I love her..
I know it sounds silly..but please pray that maybe her conditiona can be treated with medicine, and she can get a little better and stay around for a few more years.

Thanks so much for your prayers ladies. Originally my mom thought we ahd to put Katieto sleep with the other two, but it turns out she's in good health! All of her vitals are good. The only problems are that her kidneys are shrinking (normal for her age), and that she still hasn't recovered from the pancreatitis she had. It's bieng aggravated by this inflammatory bowel disease that the other 2 cats had (they think it was a virus that caused it...). But her bowels don't really feel so bad, the vet said, so we are keeping her on special food, and trying to give her a different kind that she might like more, and we're giving her medicine and I have to keep her away from the otehr cats for a week so I can watch her so I know who's doing what in the litter box, but basically she's going to be ok. I'm really glad. i know she;'s getting old, but I knew in my heart that she wasn't really sickly as the others were. I'm so happy. I'm going to to buy her some new toys and one of those runnung water water dishes!![]()
