It all started around January, when her jaw dislocated, and till this day gets dislocated. it impedes her from eating, threreforth my mom lost over 50 pounds. After search for doctors, we dinally found someone that said they know exactly what it is, and that she was going to get 100% better. well last tuesday, she had the operation, it was successful, but today she had to go back for a follow up. her jaw got dislocated again. now she is all wrapped up in bandages. my mom now weighs 91 pounds from 135 lbs this february. I'm so scared for her. i want her to be fine for my wedding, i always envisioned her being part of the planning process, but becasue of her health, she has not been able to. i pray to God everyday to help her get better I'm just scared that something will happen to her because she is not eating.
I'm just asking you girls to please keep my mom in your prayers, she's my best friend, and i just want her to feel better. Her name is Carmen. I've cried so much today, my eyes are all puffy, and swollen, it just hurts so bad, and i'm still crying as i'm writing this.. thank you girls, Lisette:

she woke up like that one day, and they discovered a bone that was sticking out of her jaw line, and that was making her jaw lopsided. so last week's surgery consisted of shaving down that bumpy bone, and with that, she was going to be able to open and close her mouth, which she couldn't do before because her mouth was always open and she used to stick out her toungue a lot. the doctors say that the sticking of her tounge is a habit, i kind to differ a little. i think its probably a nerve damage, along the way, i don't know. i can't explain. i just thought with this surgery it was going to make a difference. she has an appointment on thursday, lets see what happens then. I just hope everything turns out for the best. i have faith!!!

dont worry, i going throug something similiar to your mom, my mother had eye surgeries on her eyes. It actually has to do w/her diabetes that caused it. Rigt now i afriad se wont be able to see me clearly on my wedding day. Actually she has limited site right now which freak me out. Sometimes i feel sad that she is going through thisalone(she thinks we dont care) we do but this is the real world, and people have to work).i dont know what to do in her case. i work full time, plus planing a wedding. Me and sister feel bad that we are not there to support her.Well i pray to go everyday to help keep some of her eyesight intact and lose any . i feel for you and your mom, keep you guys in my prayer......

I hope everything is ok!!! My prayers are with your mom & your family!!
Also, i'm sure your doctors have told you this already but just in case- there are shakes she can drink called ensure and you can get them at CVS and places like that. It will help keep her levels even.
