My fiance, only 29 years old, has some abnormal lymph nodes and an enlarged spleen. We still need to get tests done but words like lymphoma and leukemia have already been thrown out. It seems like such a mess and so unfair.

He's so sweet...he says that this is a sign that we shouldn't wait and that we should get married tomorrow. That makes me even sadder.

Ladies, Thank you so much for your prayers. It's worse than we thought but there is a silver lining. It is most likely this highly treatable form of leukemia. 90% remission rate. We get definite diagnosis and determine the treatment tomorrow. Wish us luck!

One thing...
I didn't even think about fertility until my parents bought it up. Don't want this to affect the future 'grandkids'. Kind of freaked about that but surprisingly we're both very calm. The panic has kind of passed...

My brother had Acute Lymphoblastic when he was two years old and he has been in remission since he was about 4 or 5... he is the proud papa of this little girl

He started chemo yesterday and so far so good. If anyone is interested we have strated a blog about his treatment... Thanks again for your prayers. You ladies have be so amazingly supportive!
