OMG I am sorry to hear FH is not doing soo good - I hope he gets better soon and his pain subsides...I will keep the two of you in my thoughts & prayers...

Thnaks girls.. I just want hi to feel better soon so he ca be his cheerful self again. The meds make him super groggy and he gets upset becasue he feels like he is weighing everyone down.

He is moving his arms alittle bit better today but he is still in tons of pain. I cant wait to go to the doc tomorrow so we can see what the heck is going in and why he is in so much pain..... I just want him to be ok.

As some of you may know I have been MIA this weeked cuz FH got surgury this past Friday. Well the surgery was a lot more extesnive then they thought it would be. I sat in a waiting alone for 21/2 hours after being told that it was a 40 min proceedure and was having a heart attck thinking something horrible happened..Thankfully the surgury went well.. but he has been in so much pain... and there is nothing I can do

I need your prayers because tonight he was in A LOT of pain andhe started to develope a fever. I really hope is not getting an infection. He is suffering enough and it breaking my heart to see him in so much pain. Just pray that he has a good recovery and no infections...

Update: Ok so last night I woke him up and made him take his temp and it was still alittle high, but he told me to wait till mornign b4 calling the doc.
This morning when I went there to drain his tubes (he has tubes draining the excess liquid form the wounds) and give him his meds... I took his temp and his fever is down to normal. Hopefully it stays this way. Im so worried about him,he is alone all day today, and I don't want him straining himself and ripping his stitches again... Oh yeah he did that about 2 hours after we got home from the hospital on Frday...and we ended up back in the ER so he can get restitched... What was supposed to e a 'simple' proceedure, isn't so simple anymore.

Penny I'm so sorry I didn't see this sooner hun! I'm glad to see that he seems to be improving now...just to make you feel a little better also, after a surgery sometimes someone's core temp will increase due to the inflammation and healing process going on so as long as it's not super super high he will be ok....you are doing a great job though taking care of him...he's very lucky!! OK girls first I would like to thanks you all for ur Prayers.
My Angelo is doing great. We went to the doctor and the draining tubes were removed ( he was in soooooooooo much pain whe they took them out but at last they are out!!) and the doctor said that the wounds are healing very nicely. No infections but still very limited mobility in his arms. Oh and since some nerves were touched during surgery he will have some numbness in the tricep area for acouple of months so he has constant pins and needles in those spots. The doc even said that he will probably be bale to drive by the weekend and even go back to work on Monday.
Based on his healing process so far he sould be not 100% but A-OK for the E-party.
