your travel agent if you have any!!! how do they work?? I have no idea but I need to talk to someone about my HM!! thanks!! everyone!

i was talking with a few. there are a few on here, so i think thats a good place to start. its just easy to FM and get ideas.

i was also talking with ones recommended (liberty travel is pretty good), but i wound up going with a LIW vendor

do you have an idea of where you wanna go? i would recommend booking with someone FAMILIAR with the area...and possibly who already took a similar trip!

ETA: I am working with Dawn from CruiseOne. Since we are taking a cruise, and she actually took a panama canal cruise before, she gave us lots of good tips already. she is super quick with responding via email too (which is really important to me, since i cant make phone calls at work)

yes August 2010 Greece! 2 weeks which i know it will be pricey but that's where we want to start and see how the price is first any ideas who i can contact???

sounds great! since you have an idea, i would send a note to all the LIW TA vendors and see what they say. i will FM you the contact info for someone else i was talking to as well from bayside, ny that came recommended. if you are near a liberty travel, its probably worth stopping in or calling too.

i second dawn from cruise one. she doesnt just do cruises. she did our whole HM which is half cruise and half all inclusive in jamaica. she is SO sweet and very helpful.

i think she may be listed on here as dawns HM specialists?

I was clueless with how to pick a travel agent and then I came across a post KerriJohn wrote a few months ago...

she recommended tripology.com and I seriously saved me stress and
What you do is pick your destination/amount of time/approx budget and then up to 3 travel agents who know your destination will contact you. Once I narrowed down exactly which resort and hotel I wanted (through talking with the agents and looking into what they suggested on tripadvisor.com) I pitted them against each other to bring down the price. Not only is my agent totally knowledgeable about my destination, his price literally could not be beat!
