I'm sure they are fine...the phone lines are probably down and/or there circuits are probably busy. Have you tried contacting the hotel is staying at to see if they have any info or can get a message to him?

Well, we still haven't heard from my brother. But I finally got some information on the flight he is supposed to be on tonight. His plane has already been delayed an hour and a half.

Well, the plane my brother is supposed to be on has finally taken off. Of course we still haven't talked to him so we don't know if he is on it or not. I'll update later. Now I am off to the wake. Thank you again for all your support!!!

Boop: there is no way to call the airline and find out if he's on the flight? They should know. I would call the airline - tell them you are concerned - maybe they can radio the plane and a stewardess can find out if he's on there and OK and then the airline can call you back. ETA: I hope he's OK - will say a prayer!

Jaime I am sorry that you are going through this. I am sure he will be ok and that it was just hard to get to a phone. I am sure with everyone calling to inquire about relatives that the phone lines are completely clogged.
