Michele, did Barbara tell you to do the ironing board thingy? I did it, but I have no idea if that was the reason Lyla turned, or if she turned on her own. It was really annoying doing it!

Mich, maybe you should try the 'all fours' thing that everyone is suggesting? Hopefully, it will help, and I know it will definitely take some pressure off your back while you're doing it! Pls, don't get too hyped about 'going early' b/c you'll be sooo miserable if it doesn't happen. Hang in there, sweetie!
The ironing board thing: It is hard to describe but the midwife swears by it and I have read about it on other sites. You take an ironing board and put it on your couch edge at 45 degree angle, cover it with a non-slippery blanket and then you put the couch cushion on the floor at the edge of the board. You lay on the cushion and put your leg on the board and try to hike up the board as high as you can go. Some girls can go almost into an headstand. My back doesn't allow me to go that high up so I go up to my butt. Bascially you want your pelvis higher than the rest of you. Then you put an ice pack on the upper part of your belly, to make the baby want to search for warmer ground. I have known a few girls who have done this and their baby's turned. I am doing it but I need to try everything, except for the external turn that doctors do.
I KNOW I will probably not go early but I just want to be ready in case I do....but I have a feeling December is calling my name.
