Please share some good stories ...

I feel so upset right now. All I seem to hear about are the horrible things the world has to offer ... hit and run accidents, people being hurt or killed, cops dying, natural disasters, the war and our soldiers dying (not to mention civilians), people alone for the holidays, I'm about to leave for my uncle's funeral ... I'm not trying to start any drama or anything like that. I'm just looking for someone to please share some good things that are going on with them right now - I need to refocus Thanks girls

Here's a good one.

My friend's niece Madison, who is 4, is very precocious.

Last year, Madison's mom was explaining to her about Christmas. She says 'Madison, Christmas is when we celebrate G-d's birthday.' Madison's response?

'Oh, he'll DEFINITELY have Barney at his party.'

And another:

My Cousin Ellie, also aged 4, has her Daddy (my Uncle) wrapped around her little finger)

My Mom, whom Ellie calls 'Auntie', gave my Uncle the cash for Ellie's Chanukah present - a HUGE Disney Princess Castle. Puts the Barbie Dreamhouse to shame, from what I hear. So they're at the store, buying the present from Auntie, when Ellie says 'Daddy, I can't have a Castle without a Princess!'. Uncle says okay, what the heck, they're only $10, might as well.

So he gets her a Princess doll. Then Ellie pushes her luck 'But Daddy, I can't have a Castle and a Princess without a Prince!'

Uncle says: 'I'm your Prince!'

OMG that is soooo cute.

I have one:

I just got married a couple of weeks ago. So my friend Jenn has a 5 year old boy.

He asks her 'so mommy you went to Richie and Lisa's wedding?'.

And she said 'yeah I did'.

And he said 'so they are married now?'

And she said 'yeah they are'.

He said 'so they're gonna have a baby now right?'

How cute is that??

awwwww I guess leave it to children to put things in prespective. I know there are good things to come, but sometimes things in this crazy world seem so overwhelming. I think I should try to stay away from the news and the newspaper for a few days and enjoy the rest of this year!
