Please tell me if you think this is odd and what you would think....

OK....my wedding was on Sunday and a 'so-called' close friend of mine (who was in the bp then backed out) wore the top of her wedding dress to the wedding and purposly came up to me and said ' Did you notice I'm wearing the top of my wedding dress' and laughed

is that bizzare?? Everyone knew what she was wearing - that is how obvious it was - what are your thoughts about this?

a bottom to an old BM dress she had - i think it was black or navy blue and it was long like a gown.

Well, my cousin's wife had a wedding dress that was an ivory dress that had sort of a haltar top with gold stitching and a tulle skirt. I don't think it was made to be a wedding dress, but she wore it as one. Even before her wedding, she planned on cutting off the skirt and wearing the top for something else (maybe a wedding in the future....)

I don't find that so strange in itself, but I do find it strange that she told you that, especially after backing out of the BP. I mean, if you love it and want to wear it, go ahead, but keep the details to yourself, don't tell the bride about it. Be glad she wasn't in the BP, it sounds like she would have added drama. People are weird.

WOW!! Weird is right. Did you ask her why? The top of her wedding dress or her BM dress that she was supposed to wear to your wedding.

I guess she was just excited to be able to wear part of her dress again......I wouldn't go so far as to say she was a total freak or should be committed though....
