You're not alone. Especially that you are getting close. I think I've been very calm throughout most of the planning, and I've been really nervous lately. I feel like I'm running out of time.

ETA: Try and give yourself a break from things. Everything will fall into place. The news of your FH losing his job is added pressure too. I'm soo looking forward to the honeymoon.

I've tried..but i have so much to do..that i feel like i can't take a break or i won't get it all done..and yes when fh lost his job..that definately didn't help my stress either

somehow it gets done and the closer you get to the date is when it hits you and you go crazy with planning and finishing everything. Just finish most of it now bc the last 2 weeks i was running just on adrenaline. I was out from early in the morning until late at night running around doing things. I barely had time to eat and had knots in my stomach so had no appetite either. I was exhausted and so stressed.

oh no kristin, i didnt know that about your FH, i am so sorry

i had definitely hit that point quite a few times lol. When you have a long engagement i think its only normal and it does happen. Especially since we do have other things going on in our lives and other stresses and then to have the wedding to plan too can become overwhelming. It will all be fine though

thanks..i wish I had a much shorter engagement sometimes..this is ridiculous..ive been engaged since july of 2006..so that in itself is frustrating..especially when your watching others who got engaged after you..walk down the isle before you

Aw, try not to think of it that way. You may be engaged longer, but you and your FH already have a house...that's a huge accomplishment and something that you should both be proud of. You're young, if a longer engagement resulted in you owning your home, it was worth it!

thankyou..that definately makes me feel better...I never thought about it that way

Now I know why people hire a wedding planner and why brides are called bridezilla's ... I just had a blow up with FH this morning...if its not one thing its another thing, never ending. It was fun in the beginning but now its sooo tedious I can wait for this day to come !!!

<---- need a glass of wine BAD!!

lol i actually said that this morning..now i know why brides are called bridezillas...i feel like one right now..

I'm actually the opposite for some reason....I'm enjoying the planning now but hated it up until now. I did the big stuff and then wanted no part of it. i do feel like the to do list is never ending.

You bought a house, moved, and are planning a wedding all at the same time...anyone would feel stressed.

Your day will come and all the stress will be gone and you'll only feel happiness.

very true..thanks
