Please Vote - Centerpiece Samples from Flower Michele

Let me start off by saying that I am very selective with who I shout rave reviews about so I have to take a minute to give some serious thanks to John and Michelle at Flower Michele. They are by far the nicest, most laid back people to work with of any vendor I met and they have the patience of SAINTS to spend over 3 HOURS with me today reworking samples and helping me take pics. My sister and cousin used them in the past so I had no doubts they were good but it is sooooo important to work with someone that enjoys what they do and takes the time to get to know what you really want. I expressed concern over the phone to Michelle before the initial consult that I needed to fill the large ballroom on a small budget and by the time I walked in to see her she had a sketch of the Carlyle drawn up and a sample ready for me to see.

i love the candle trees personally. they're unique and people would remember them
and i think they're perfect for an evening affair because they set the mood perfectly.
of course, i'm not a huge fan of callas, so that might also have something to do with it....

I love the trees- they are different and I like that.
I also love candlelight.

I agree with you 100% about John. FI and I both clicked with John from Flower Michele instantly.

I like the candle tree with rose petals.

Also, its hard to see but one of the candletree pics has Michele holding votive candles up at the top of it - she could put them on lucite candle sticks and shove them into the vase so that there is candlelight at the top of that centerpiece as well. She showed me last time but she didn't have them today. Don't know if that would be too much going on or be cause for fire-hazard concerns but it would be a way to combine both looks....

I also have to give John credit where credit is due. I have said it before and I will say it again... John is awesome.

Laura I have to say that I saw your samples in person for I was there to visit John today to pay my final balance. IMO I really liked the callas. I commented on them when I was there. I also thought the candle light tree was nice too... different. Overall my vote is for the callas.

1) Because to me they are more summery (is that a word? ) than the candle light tree. The candle light tree reminds me of the fall.
2) For some reason I just like calls at a wedding.

But if I have learned anything these past months of planning is that you do what you feel you want. Which ever one struck you go with. I walked in with spring flowers on my mind, pastels etc... But when FI and I saw the black magic topiaries we fell in love with them. They are gorgeous and that is what I am going with for the reception. I am getting my spring feel in the boo-ks.

Good Luck, No matter what you go with I am sure it will come out great.

I think both are lovely and while the candle tree is very unique, I think I would prefer the callas for a summer wedding.

But whatever you choose people will love it!

I do agree that the callas feel more summery (yeah, don't know if that is a word but i use it all the time). But I LOVE LOVE LOVE candlelight and that it works really well in that huge room.

So, if I go for the callas, what do you think of the votives in the middle of it?

trees definately - the calls just are so plain looking - think the others are more memorable

The candletree is very different, but I do think it doesn't look very 'summery'. So I voted for the callas.

And I will also give a big shout out to John at Flower Michele. He is awesome!!!!

I prefer the trees....I'm not a fan of calla lilies and I think it's a simpler look

I like the calla lillies & love the idea of using the candle sticks with them. That way you have the best of both worlds. I'm just not a fan of those candle trees. Either way though the candle light will look great.

WOW I loved them both so I see the hard choice....

I have to say I usually am not crazy about the trees, but I really liked them in those pics!

I voted for them because I love the twinkle, I think its very summer eve feeling...Kind of outdoorsy but elegant.

How do you feel when you see the totals? are you happy? or dissapointed? Thats how the polls usually help me.

Same, I prefer flowers with candles...
