Personally I am, I also think that if you do not that person is less likely to come. I think its okay in the scenario of like...for example your inviting a group of work friends that your not super close to and you know they can all go together, in this scenario it can be okay. But I think past a certain age the 'you don't have a boyfriend' rule is not really fair, especially if they do have a boyfriend and you just never knew about it and your inviting other friends/fam their age with plus ones.
