Plus Size BM Dresses

Hey Divas!! I am currently on my search for bridesmaid dresses. I'm hoping to find a designer who also makes plus size dresses so that my bridesmaids can use the same designer. Any help would be appreciated. TIA!!

I know with Davids Bridal you wont have any problems and i've heard of designers charging a slight fee to cut the dress in a plus size usually over size 16. i've seen it where it was between 15 dollars more to about 30 never heard of anyone having to pay more than 30 dollars more to get a dress cut in a plus size

also most plus size stores (lane bryant, torrid) are notoriously more expensive than straight size stores so im sure your plus size ladies wont be shocked if they have to pay a little more, it sucks and is kinda unfair that plus size is more $ sorry to be a buzzkill

i know that RK Bridal carries a lot of plus size dresses in sample sizes for Plus size BM's. I know Jordana makes some and so does Jim Hjelm and Alfred Angelo

so far i only have found davids bridal that carrys a large selection. there are a lot of designers (i think almost all of them) that make dresses in plus sizes just not many stores that carry them to try on. if you know what dress you want your girls in without having them try it on then go anywhere...but if you are in my predicament and want them to try on davids bridal is your best bet. my sister (MOH) does think the bridal suite in commack has a large selection of plus size dress samples but we arent heading there til February....

Bridal Elegance in Dix Hills! Phyllis is FANTASTIC! I'm plus size & was in two weddings recently and I found the most gorgeous BM dresses there

Most designers make the plus size dresses (a few are listed above and I'm adding Bill Levkoff) but I haven't found any stores with the samples. I'm going to check out Bridal Elegance. Its so hard to pick a dress when it doesn't fit!!!

alfred angelo all dresses go up to size 30. My bridal party ranges from 0 to 24 and we found a dress that all them could wear. The bonus is that alfred angelo never charges for plus size and at wedding center of commack carries plus size sample which i didnt know at the time

Most carry plus but not all have plus to try on. David's and a few others will have the dress in multiple sizes to try on. We got our dresses at Davids because I was trying to be cost conscious. My girls are a 4, 6 and 14

Same here. I am plus size as well. We got my dress and all the bridesmaid dresses at David's. They had the dress available to try on in a varity of sizes and other dresses in my colors so I could see everyone in the dress and in the color. My girls range from a 4 to a 24.

I know that the designer that I went with can do all the dresses in plus sizes, you just have to order extra fabric with the dress! So theoretically you could get any dress made bigger than what the store normally carries with extra fabric.
