My take on it is that if I can't afford the real thing, with the real designer stamp on it, then I buy a leather bag from Macy's or Nordstorm that I love.....I'd rather have an awesome REAL leather bag than a fake designer one. All my designer bags are real.

All mine are real. I have a lot of LV bags and a few coach bags.
i dont realy buy name brand pocketbooks lol i have 1 expensive one and its a real D&B lol all the otherones i bought at marshalls or tjmaxx, or they are knockoffs
oh, i do have a fake 'prada', lol....someone bought it for me, it's obviously not real. But i feel so silly using it b/c it is a flat out knokoff....although the bag is nice. I would rather use it if it didnt say prada though....i dont want to look like i am trying too hard, lol
Unfortunatly, I cant condone the purchase of fake bags. I file trademarks and handle anti-counterfeiting work for some major designers with the law firm that I work for. I spend my day filing and protecting our clients trademarks as well and surfing the web and shutting down websites/people who are selling counterfeits of our clients goods. I know of all the hard work that goes into branding a name and the money that our clients put into building their business and protecting their names. Its only real stuff for me, plus I would get fired if I client found out we were sporting knock-offs!
I am a sucker for designer handbags--I don't buy the fakes--I am the same with designer jeans--l-o-v-e them!
