While we're on the pocketfold topic, how are you attaching the actual invitation to the pocketfold? Does what I'm asking even make sense??
they sell these little sticky glue dot thingys
yea I bought those and it didn't work out for me, have you tried them yet?
UH OH- no not yet!
I heard Ailenes tacky glue works. Maybe double stick tape??
Thanks- I will have to experiment now.

Re: Pocketfold Help
I was looking for envelopes and I came accross this site. They dont have folder pocketfolder, but have the sleaves and gate-folds. Nice envelopes too- metalic ones- purdy!
She was the one who inspired me to do the invites!

Re: Pocketfold Help
I seriously need a lot of help (mentally, yes, but I meant for the invites), I just showed FH the pocketfolds and now he really wants to do them and even offered to help but I don't know what to begin ordering.

Yup, that seems to be what i'm finding. Do you think it matters how close you match the color to your wedding colors? Will people be like... 'ew, this is not the same shade of blue as the bridesmaids!'
Also... do you think it's worth the extra $$ for metalic pocketfolds? i looooove shiny things.

This is why i love you! Someone else might have said 'the metalics are sooo worth the extra money' but you're all... 'eh, they're nice but who cares? save the money'
we'll see what FH wants but right now, i think a nice matte blue will be fine.
(i think he wants to do silver pocketfolds, and a blue mount, which i love but i dunno if it's worth the $$)

Check out the clearance section in Kate's paperie! There are some packs of 25 pocketfolds for $17 I think. You just have to make sure they have your color in stock!
I've never heard of them. Is it a storefront or a website? Thanks for the heads up!
There is one in NYC, but the clearance pocketfolds can only be bought online. Here is the link!

I totally agree!! its really not worth the extra money .. I got the white pocketfolds, with a tiffany blue mat, and when I printed the invites I did all black font with our names in red so I used both of our colors, and they came out great if I do say so myself ... if you want to bring in extra color you can make a tag, or even tie it with a ribbon!

Thank you! I found a 'zinc' colored pocket fold that is not metalic but it's silverish. Hopefully I'll find a mat in the right shade of blue. i think our ink color will be black. We will def be using a ribbon of some sort as well.
