Police Ask For Help In Finding Two Missing Brooklyn Teens

Police in Brooklyn are asking for the public's help in finding two teenage girls who have been missing since Wednesday.

The two girls didn't come home from a pool at the corner of Belmont and Vermont Avenues.

Ashley Parker, 13, is described as black, 5’6” weighing 115 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black T-shirt, black shorts and an orange swimsuit. Yamira Mendez, 14, is described as Hispanic, 5’5” tall, weighing 120 pounds with auburn hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black T-shirt, black shorts and black Timberland boots.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of the teens is urged to call the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS.

I hope they are found and brought home safely.
Weird thing about this thing is I teach middle school in broklyn and had a girl names Ashley Parker in my class for a few weeks. She was moved around alot from class to class. I am hoping its not the same ashley.
