Well... FH wants 1 (less fighting) I want 2 (I always wanted a 'real' sibling - i have a step-brother and 2 half siblings, but they never lived w/ me full time).

I think we'll stop trying after 2... but ya never know.

ETA: FH has a theory... never allow the kids to outnumber you

I voted for 3. I am an only child and really, it sucks, even still as an adult. So I am saying at least 2 but probably 3.

I can't compare myself to you, but I was the youngest of 3. I had 2 older brother, who beat me up while I was growing up.

I was the only girl, I was about 6years younger then both, I always felt lonely and left out.

I voted for 3, even though I am a middle child of 3 and it sucks at times, but it is also fun to have more than one sibling.

i am one of 6 kids, and as much fun as it was, it stunk having to fight for a shread of individualized attention from my constantly exhausted parents.

We are having 2 - he would love 4. There is NO WAY I am putting my body through that.

If we are rich, and our 2 kids are growing up healthy and well-adjusted, we would discuss adoption of a third and final child.
