ok- we're doing donation favors for our wedding, and im not sure how i want to present our explanation for it... id really like to do One picture frame on the placecard table, but what do you girls think?

i really want to do the picture frame on the placecard table... i just think that having all these different things at the tables is annoying- centerpieces, petals on the table, menus...i dont think my mom or his mom would go for the one frame at the placecard table though...

I like the scrolls at each placesetting - on teh plate when guests enter....
sometimes there is such a crowd at the placecard table, you just find your name & run off...
and there is SO MUCH STUFF all over the table - I don't think everyone would see & read one picture frame....
if cost is a factor, many organizations will provide the scrolls for free...even if they don't it will cost next to nothing to have done, or even do yourself....

we thought of that too, but at the placecard table it might get overlooked w/ people looking for their names.... esp if u're not doing favors (we didnt- our donation was in lieu of favors) which is a big reason we put 1 per table....

ah yes, i forgot about the 'get the placecard and run' factor...
as for cost, i meant that the cost of buying an individual picture frame for each scroll...
but thanks for the advice!
god i cant believe im gonna be married in 33 days... how scary is that?!

I went to a few weddings last year that they gave a donation.
One way was a bookmark which the edges were cut with a design and it had a tassle. One per seat.
Second was a scroll for everyone. One per seat.
Third was cards i guess given from the foundation with something written inside. One per seat.
I liked either #1 or 2 and i think the picture frame on the table as well would be a nice touch.
I would definately do one per seat just so people take note what the favor is. Just incase they dont see the picture frame on the placecard table at least they will know there was a favor.

My cousin did a donation favor and they had one frame on each table explaining their choice. It was actually really cute, because it was for the North Shore Animal League, and they had a photo of their dog at a table with a place setting, and it starting off with 'Duncan couldn't be here tonight, but he wanted us to tell you that....' and then they explained the donation.
