POLL: invitations ... do people really....

Do people really care if you hand-write their names and addresses on the invitations?

I have never even noticed how my addy was written on any invites i've ever gotten ... but is it just me? do people really care? is it SUCH a big no-no?

I'm handwriting them, b/c putting them through the printer will be too much of a fiasco for me. I don't really care much about the envelopes, to be perfectly honest. IMHO they are getting ripped and thrown in the garbage in about 2 seconds.

im not into fancy calligraphy..we just could not afford it

we used inkspun and for all the outer and inner envelopes it was 89 bucks

I printed the addresses on my invites with a fancy font to make it look like calligraphy. I think it's thank you notes that should be handwritten.

My mother wasnt too happy with me - but I printed them out on labels in a nice calligraphic font. I had no idea how to run the envelopes through our printer & wasnt about to start wasting envelopes to find out. I was NOT about to write 100+ envelopes out so...I guess I am the bad one here & printed them on labels instead. To be honest - I really dont think anyone gave a rats A$$ either way except for my mom. oh well...

We had hand calligraphy. I found someone who was amazing to do it inexpensively. It was important to me to have hand calligraphy on my wedding invites. We are all different. I say go for what makes you happy! That's what's most important in this!
