Did you cry on your wedding day? I went for my last fitting last night and my mom was in tears, which made me sad. I don't think I'd cry, but if others start crying then I may cry too.

when matt & I married 10 years ago, I actually was so nervouse I stared to go into a laughing fit the reverand looked at me, and my sister inlw stepped on my foot ,,,,,
Thank GOD I have a blusher for June and I already explained this to Father so if I get nervouse he'll understand it's not because of what he is saying,,, Matt however cried..

Actually, before my wedding I thought I was going to be in tears throughout my ceremony but to my surprise I didn't shed a tear.
However, I did get a little choked up when my dad began walking me down the aisle but the moment my DH and I locked eyes on my way down I couldn't cry, I was just SOOOOO happy and excited and couldn't stop smiling. I was on cloud 9 the entire day, it definitely was 'the' best day of my life!

JT was starting to cry and I knew if I did, he would lose it. Although, I didn't really feel the need to cry, I was just so happy, I was smiling like an idiot!

I held it together all day and as I was standing in the doorway of the church, I heard the Canon in D being played as my bridesmaids were walking down the aisle and I broke down in tears....Seeing the church packed with everyone we love and seeing my DH at the end of the aisle with a huge smile on his face and tears in his eyes, I couldn't help but cry....Tears streamed down my face as I walked down the aisle, and its a moment I will never, ever, ever forget for as long as I live

I didnt cry at all walking down the aisle or reciting our vows. I started crying during the receiving line.....seeing everyone that we loved in one room made me so emotional.

i teared while walking down the aisle and then when we said our vows. I tried to fight back the tears so not to ruin my makeup...that face cost me a lot of money! lol

Re: Poll: Married ladies, did you cry?
cried throughout the ceremony, down the aisle, during the first dance, really bad during father/daughter and even when i said goodbye to my neighbor.
luckily, it was a pretty cry and my makeup stayed (thanks Denise from Angel Eyes!)
My advice: just live in the moment and don't worry about whether you will or not.

The only time I cried was when I danced with my brother. Go figure.

My husband and I wrote our own vows, neither one of us planned to cry, but he went first and said his vows from his heart (mine were written). Not only was he crying, he had me crying and our entire bridal party was in tears.

I was calm the entire morning, then we got into the church, the processional started playing, and then I started. Then I cried a bit while I was saying my vows, but that was it.

Re: Poll: Married ladies, did you cry?
Okay reading some of these posts has made me all teary eyed trying to fight back the tears. I'm scared I am not a 'couple of tears' streaming down the face kind of girl I am an ugly crier, a baller, a sobber, a wailer, a runny nose-er. Not to mention an very emotional drama queen. This is one reason why I told FH I don't want us to recite our own vows because I started to write mine and of course I was balling

i am a super cry baby i cry for every little thing. I even cry seeing a commercial. Everyone thought i would be a reck but i wasn't . the day of my wedding my mom did my hair and my make up and i thought once my mom put on my veil and my tiarra i would cry like a baby. But i didn't. I didn't start crying until my mom and i were taking pic. and thats because she started crying. when i got to the church i walked down the aisle with my father and i was fine. My father lifted my veil not a tear, just sure happiness. Not like my hubbie he was the one crying well bawling. I began to cry when the ceremony was over and my photographer said ' and now turn to your husband' WOW MY HUSBAND. That was it i finally began to cry.

I cry at commercials about weddings, so I thought I would be a mess the day of my wedding...but in fact I was calm and happy the whole day. I did almost cry during our vows, but for the most part I was all smiles all day!

Re: Poll: Married ladies, did you cry?
I almost lost it in the lobby of the church getting ready to walk down the aisle. All my BM's came over to me and hugged me and said really sweet things before they walked down the aisle. And the moment when I was standing there with my dad behind the chuch doors and the organ music started,,,,,,,,,so emotional! But I didn't lose it. I knew if I started, I wouldn't be able to stop. It was hard to not cry!
I did lose it during my MOH's speech, the only time I cried. She said really sweet things, it got to me.
