Poll: Most popular Registry

Just getting a feel of where other gals in LI are registered. It seems the bulk of people I ask, are registered at one or more of these places. So which ones are MOST of your registry items from?

Oh - and any others that you thought had hard to find items or problems buying off your registry from guests opinions?

I was registered at Bloomingdale's, Fortunoff, and Crate and Barrel.

I registered at Fortunoff and Crate and Barrel. I was thinking of registering at Macy's because of convenience but, at the time I did it, most of the items were substantially cheaper at Fortunoff.

We're registered at Bed, Bath, & Beyond, Fortunoff and Crate & Barrel

Originally I did about 1/2 Fortunoff and 1/2 BBB - all the presents I got for my e-party were from BBB (not a single one from Fortunoff). So I switched all my Fortunoff stuff to BBB (two items have already been bought!), and started a Macys registry

I was registered @ Bed Bath and Beyond and Macy's. BB&B has much better prices.

i have a couple but also have amazon.com - a lot of stuff i want is less $$ there and they have things i really want i can not find in stores!

I only registered at Fortunoff because I need things like china and silverware.
I guess I will register at BB&B closer to my shower.

I started my registry at Fortunoff's there is only two things on my list because my FH is so annoying. He only wants things that are made in the USA. My best friend came with us and the two of them took the scanner and started clicking the stupidest things. So I went home and deleted it all.
Now I'm making my mom go with us so we can get things done. It was just so overwhelming. There is too much stuff. I think I'm going to go to Bed Bath and Beyond also. It just seems easier cause there is not as much

I have BBB and Pottery Barn! One of my BM did PB for everything for herself and she got great stuff! For me, PB is mainly decorative stuff and a few functional items- BBB has all of the practical stuff I want.

PB only has a few dish and bedding options and I didn't want to pick the same things as my BM!!

Fortunoff was a thought but I wanted to keep costs low and I am not registering for China- we live at home and need everyday things!!

I personally love Fortunoff. I always have a problem at Macy's. They are not very accomodating. At Fortunoff if someone wants to buy your china (say all 12 placesettings) and they don't have all in stock, they ordered it for you (you leave a deposit) but there is no extra charge. At macy's they ship it to you and you have to pay a shipping charge. And I know that other stores have sales but sometimes they jack up the price so there sale isn't as good as you think it is!!!

wow..i had no idea! i'm dying to register...just DYING...but FH thinks we should wait a while longer. thanks for the tip on Macys!
