My mom asked me what I would prefer....a sit-down or buffet ... both are the same exact price
The buffet offers more food overall....
It's a 430 - 830pm shower.... We were going for an elegant, but still a bit casual theme - candle centerpieces

i like both BUT for my shower i would personally prefer sit-down. The only reason is because we'll have older guests and i am sure it will be easier for them.
but for me if i am attending an event, i love either one...sometimes i do go too far with the buffet and just eat way too much hahaha

i vote buffet ...we had a buffet at our engagement party i actually enjoyed it because it definately got people up and socializing

i like buffet for parties that are less formal.....i want my bridal shower to be very relaxed and lots of fun - not very formal so i would want a buffet.....plus more food!

I had a buffet at mine and a lot of the women told me they were glad they got to choose from a variety of foods & also could go up for seconds. I don't think you should stress about this, either way is fine & people will be happy.
