Poll on my Honeymoon

Ok heres the situation. My Fiancee and I decided we would really love to go to Disney World for one week and then fly to the Caribbean for the second week. The reason we decided this is b/c I dont like being on a plane for longer than 3 hours. There is soooo much to do in Disney, its 'magical' and a lot of fun. So to relax afterwards we are going to go to the Islands. Now I have never been to any of these and was hoping you guys could help with our decision. These are our top 4 choices:
Bahamas, St. Thomas, St. Croix, St. Martin

I love your idea - how cute!!! FI and I went to Disney in Jan and had the time of our lives. Great trip, you will have a blast.

I have only been to the Bahamas out of your list and it was gorgeous. Good luck.

I voted Bahamas but it really depends on what you're looking for...what's most important to you in an island destination?

Honestly lol Steel drum music :)
I just want it to be beautiful. We went to the Dominican Republic this year and it wasnt what we expected. It wasnt as clean and beautiful as we thought. I want wherever we go to be lively, and scenic. As well as English speaking. It was so hard for us in D.R. lol

I do not like DR. I have heard great things about St. Thomas.

mine was the punk rock one. i remember i was a little b-tch. my cousin got that one and i got the BOY and i hada fit and they took the cool one away from her and gave it to me! she was mad. I was such a spoiled brat!

Love that I idea... I did't something similar.. I am taking a cruise through carnival for the first week to the Bahamas, St Thomas, and St. Martin... then we are going to drive up to Disney and stay there for a week... Check something like that out it might just work for the both of you... Have fun planning... If you need any help just ask.....

from the places on your list i have only been to the bahamas. but it is truly beautiful there! if you'd like a big resort type of place there is atlantis on paradise island, which is amazing! or if you'd like a more intimate place you can go to one of the out islands, some of which have PINK beaches!

I personally spend 2-3 weeks down in St Maarten/St martin every year. I leave in January for 2 and 1/2 weeks this time I have been going to there since I was 7. I just went to the Bahamas in July for a week and would never go back again. I hated it the people where so rude and expected a tip I have no problem tipping because that is how they make there money but they were to pushy. I would do the cruise thing if you can't make up your mind. I have been to all of the islands that you have mentioned and I personally love saint maarten. If you want more info on the islands FM me.

I have been to all of the bahama islands and eh they are ok, paradise island is not that great- its nice but I think it gets more attention than its worth, plus it is very expensive. Freeport is extremely boring I have timeshare there and I wish I didnt. I have never been to st martin but I have been to st thomas- now that is beautiful. Maegans Bay is absolutely beautiful it is a beach shaped in a heart you can see it when you go all the way up to the top of the mountain. incredible views of the other islands too. I would def go back in a heart beat to st thomas. people are VERY friendly there too. Hope this helps.
