Not totally in Love but I was definitely smitten, as was he. We met and were instantly connected, hours on the phone, see each other at every chance. It's hard because he is in the Bronx and I'am on Long Island but we still talk for hours everyday.

It wasn't at all. We were set up on a blind date by our mothers who work together. We met that first night and either of us were into the conversation. I think that it was basically forced on both of us to meet. So it didn't work that night.
A few months later I had ran into him when I was with my girlfriends out at a bar. Instantly we were drawn to eachother and we both couldn't shut up the whole night. The next day he took me to a Mets day game and we have been together ever since.....

We met one night at a party, went out a couple of times and I had just started dating someone else at the same time so needless to say I didnt give FH a chance, wanted to see what would happen with other guy. I like to say that I wasn't ready for FH then.

Fast forward a few months later, after other guy was out of pic, ran into FH again. Talked, nothing happened. A few weeks later answered his ad on a dating website and DIDNT recognize picture!!!!!!! He wrote me back and we have been together since; that was over 2 years ago! So not at first sight but hopefully it is meant to be!

He told me that it was Love at first site for him- but I wasnt convinced we met at my mechanics who is his best friend/BM but we had an instant connection but im was just leaving a crappy relationship so I wasnt really trying to get involved but one thing led to another- now i cant do without him

For me yes. I saw him for the first time in High School and had to know who he was. We were outside I saw him across the courtyard and I quickly had a friend of mine intoduce me . We started dating a few days after that. At first he would tell me that for him it wasn't love at first sight. Now he says it was.

we met online and it took eight months for us to meet each other because I was in California

when i finally went to NY ...it was love at first sight in La Guardia Airport

I guess it was... but we didnt know it right away!

We were set up by a mutual friend. When I met him I thought he was really nice but really didnt give it much thought. THe next day our mutual friend (who I worked wiht) asked me about him and I just started blushing and got really nervous. Our next meeting was the beach with friends a few days later and I was so nervous I had butterflies in my stomach. I knew I was crazy about him! I literally got those same butterflies every time I saw him for about a year! My college roommates loved it when he came to visit becuase I would be so nervous I would clean the sorority house top to bottom!

We met online. We exchanged e-mails for about a week, then phone calls for another week. The first night we went out I knew he was special, and that he was the one.

I thought he was a jerk when I first met him.

I was PMSing though, so it wasn't fair to him. Anyway, we became friends a few months later, and started dating a little more than a year after we met.

Love At First Sight for me! I went into the store where my FH worked a fews times and we flirted, but he never asked me for my # and i was totally bummed, but i just couldnt get him off my mind. The last time I went in there and he didn't ask me out I decided to take matters into my own hands. After I left the store I went to my car and wrote my number on a piece of paper and when i went back into the store he asked 'Did you forget something?' and I said, 'No, you did. You forgot to ask me for my phone #'. He called and 5 years later the rest is history.

We met at a bar where a good band was playing. I was going to go out with a friend and I found out my sister, who never seems to want to hang out with me (we like different places to hang out) was going to be there with her friend and that friend's boyfriend. My FH was friends with the boyfriend. So that's how we met - we were introduced by my sister's friend. Then we asked me to dance. We went out a few times after taht and I thought he was nice but I think he was nervous about dating me because our first date where we didn't go to a movie SUCKED. He kept walking ahead of me and I was like 'hello!!' But then I got sick again and went into the hospital. I wasn't going to tell him since we were only dating like 1 or 2 weeks. But my sister told her friend, who told her boyfriend who told him and the day I finally did call him to tell him where I was he already knew! And he came to see me (drove - didn't know where the hell he was going too) and stayed for an hour and me looking like Queen of crap in my hospital gown and hair in a pony tail not washed for like 3 days. Then he told me he hated hospitals (who doesn't) and doesn't like going into them so for him to come see me was a big thing!

Then he got dressed up for my birthday a month later, and took me to NYC for a carriage ride in Central Park. Sooo romantic!

Then I was in the hospital again right before Christmas and was getting emergency surgery and he had already booked a bus to go see his aunt and uncle for Christmas in N. Carolina but he didn't go until 2 days after my surgery. He didn't come to the hospital the day of the surgery because I was out of the it the whole day and he had to go Christmas shopping but my dad said he called every hour to see how I was (!) and came the next day and sat there for a few hours even though I was still out of it from the anesthesia.

By the time I knew I was crazy for him it was Christmas Eve and I was still in the hospital (leaving Christmas Day) and he called me and holy cow I realized then how much I missed him and he did too and when I finally saw him the day before New Year's Eve I knew he was THE ONE!

OK now I'm crying ! I'm such a sap!

I don't know if it was first sight - I knew I wanted to get to know him the moment I met him and I knew instinctively the second time I saw him that we would somehow get together. It took me a lot longer to realize he was the one. Now I can't believe I didn't know instantly - duh!

For me...no, but for him...yes. We met online...at match.com. Exchanged emails and phone calls for about 2 weeks and then he convinced me to go out with him. I was just ending a 3 year relationship, so I didn't want anything serious. He took me to a beautiful restaurant...he was trying to impress me...and he did. For our second date (which was right before valentine's day), he bought me a diamond/gold bracelet. I was like...I can't except this and he was very sure that he would get to look at that bracelet for years to come. I couldn't get him off my mind after that...2 more dates later....and we have spent everyday together since.
