We were friends in High school. He graduated in 96 and I in 99 so he was the 'older' gut that on e of my friends had a huge crush on. After I graduated we became really close and that closeness led to our wonderful relationship.
Good thing about being friends first is that all of his friends are my friends too. I also knew pretty much everything about him so we feel deeply in love fast!

I would consider it love at first sight, even though the first time that I saw him I almost ran in the other direction... (I was really nervous!) By our first date I had that not so little voice in my head telling me that I was going to marry him.

Well, no! He came up to me at a bar in the city and turned out he was living three blocks away from my folks house in Long Island. I took his number so I'd have someone to hang out with when I was out there and he kept going on that it was never going to work out with us and that I was out of his league

We went out again a couple of weeks later - he had to ask his friend who was with him the night we met if I was cute or not !!!! Let's just say it's been a bumpy road ever since

I definitely fell in love with him first! We went to HS in Brooklyn together...and I always had a crush on him. We were in the same circle of friends and he was that one guy that I secretly drooled about! I dated other guys throughout HS always wishing it was him. We kissed once when we were 16 at some random girls Sweet 16 party and it was the highlight of my summer!
We both graduated and out of all of our friends we were the only 2 to go away to college...he went to Buffalo, I went to LI (Hofstra) and I thought that was that. We found each other's school e-mail addresses somehow (I probably tracked his down!) and would drop a line to each other every once in a while. When senior year started he wasn't responding to my e-mails so I let it go...by holiday break we found each other on AOL...he was not at Buffalo anymore and he was living w/ his mom on LI. He came and visited me @ Hofstra a few times...we went away together that spring break and the rest is history. He jokes now and makes fun of me about how I loved him first and always wanted him...I just tell him that I was right, as usual, and just knew from the start!

We worked together and I NEVER thought of him in that way - we often talked about who we were dating and a group of us at work became close and started going out together on the weekends. Well after 2 years he invited me to a wedding - and we've been a couple ever since. Funny how weddings bring people together!

We didnt like each other at first!!! We both bartended at the same bar. I thought he was too much of a party boiy and he thought I was stuck up. Until one ngiht after work, we started talking and joking around and realized we were juding eachother before we even had a conversation!

I met JT in a bar (cliche city, here we come), but I don't think of it as being sleezy because we went to high school together, I just didn't know it at the time
But anyway, I spent all night talking to him and I KNEW, just KNEW that I was going to marry him. I said the words in my head, 'This is the guy!' The next day was Xmas eve and I told my aunt, ' I met this guy in a bar lastnight and I think he's going to be the one.' Well, sure enough, he was. So yes, love at first sight.
He claims he loved me from the second he met me, but he KNEW he was going to marry me about two months later when I went to visit him in Boston and he took me to a Tibetan New Year party and some guy made me do a Yak Dance with him and I just thought it was great! Haha. He claims from that moment he knew I was the one

Fh and I were friends for 10 years before we began dating almost 5 years ago. We had some really big fights in between that I thought were stupid when he would stop talking to me.... I found out after we began dating that he would get jealous every time I had a new boyfriend!

We met online. It was on Jdate.com. We emailed through Jdate.com and then IMed each other. Then we spoke on the phone. We set up our first date at Jillians. We had a great time. Our conversations were great. It was like we been friends for years. Love developed shortly later.
