Re: POLL:Wedding Debt
No debt for us...We are paying for everything in advance....One of our reasons for a long engagement was so that we could do this all ourselves....Fortunately FH & I have been working so hard, most of our wedding money is already saved....I would never go in debt for 5 hours even if it is my wedding..JMO

Re: POLL:Wedding Debt
I am hoping not too much! my FI and I only are paying for the reception and little odds and ends like gifts and some special touchs, so we shouldn't be in debt! fingers are crossed though b/c you never know!

I refuse to put anything on credit card. If I can't pay for it up front then I'm not getting it.

Re: POLL:Wedding Debt
We have 4 kids and let me tell you to indulge in anything as simple as dinner out becomes a debt.
I know we will be in big debt over this wedding and not with credit.

Re: POLL:Wedding Debt
FI and I are paying everything up front cash ahead of time. This is completely our dime and we decided not to go into debt for a day, even for a wedding. Hopefully only some honeymoon stuff will be left and then we will use credit cards (airfare, hotel and car rental only).

Re: POLL:Wedding Debt
We were lucky and had 14 months to save $$ so but the time the wedding happens next month (next month
!!!) all we will have on credit card is honeymoon - for insurance reasons.

Re: POLL:Wedding Debt
The meain reason we had a long engament ( 2 1/2 years) was so that we could afford to pay for this lovely affair that we are having and not be in debt. We paid cash for everything.

Re: POLL:Wedding Debt
$0 and hopefully it stays that way. I think it would be too much pressure for me to know I was in debt over this wedding.Welcome New Vendors
