I have a limited budget when it comes to flowers and most of it will be spend on the centerpieces. So now what should I do?
Should I get the all calla lilly bouquet for myself and make silk calla bouquets for my BMs?
or
Should I look for a different flower bouquet that I can afford and have real flowers for my BM's also?

You can get gerber daisy's for like $1.50 each about 5 should make a nice bo-k for the girls. They come in a lot of colors to match their dresses. I'd spend the money on yours since its in the most pictures. My sister was thinking about bo-k's for her wedding. She's petite (short) and skinny, she picked up a sample at Floral Fantasy in Patchogue and it took up her whole body. So her's was small compared to others I've seen.
You could also add greenery or baby's breath to take up room as a filler. I've seen all baby's breath bo-k's too.

I would do the bok you want and instead of doing fake or different boks for the bm's why dont they each carry a single lilly?? so you match and they are all real - just an idea
WHat is your budget? I have a very small flower budget also and I am using calla lillies.

$1500, but the centerpieces I had my heart set on are going to be $975. Doesnt leave me much room for flowers.

All of my centerpiece flowers were real and the BoK's and guys flowers were silk.
I had silk Calla Lillies that people thought they were real!!

I think you should be able to swing real flowers for everyone with your budget. Get in touch with Laurie from LA Blossom, I'm sure she can help you. Someone made a really good suggestion, have you bo-k a bucnh of mini calas and have you BM carry 1 large calla. I think that would look great and it would definitely fit in your budget.

i think that should do smaller bouquets for the bridesmaids or you less expensive flowers and more filler like stock that florists you use. i think the small of real flowers and the way they look in pictures are just amazing. i think that great silks are almost as expensive as real flowers anyway. good luck you will look beautiful either way

I didn't vote, because I have a 4th option. I would do calla lillies for you and for your girls. Callas are a very strong flower and something you can arrange yourself. I was in a wedding where the bride had the large callas in white (about 4) and the bridesmaids we had 5 mini callas, also in white. There isn't much you need to do outside of wrapping them with a pretty ribbon.

how many girls ? what are the centerpieces like - personally i would downgrade those before i went with fake bo-ks if you have some pics and numbers i am sure we can help with ideas

I sure did miss a lot during lunch hour!! Here are the centerpieces. There are no if and's or butt's about the centerpieces, I have to have them. They are going to run me about $1000. Since the site wont let me post pics, here at the links to the bouquets I had in mind (only a bit smaller). For flowers I just wanted something simple and sparkly (diva) but elegant so Im thinking of just doing an all roses bouquet with rhinestone stepha-dont-remember-flowers. But Im open for suggestions. Links are on the bottom
What do you think if we took the first bouquet, replaced the wine colored callas with black magic roses and put rhinestones in the center of the bud. Would that look nice?

Well, I love the CPs and those were going to be almost exactly my Bo-ks... I only modified them a bit because I was afraid there would not be enough contrast in the burgundy callas and it would kinda look like a black hole in the middle of the bo-k in some of the pics. It would work fine with light colors though. So I modified them to be like the one below.... and I am paying around $85 per BM bo-k (if I remember correctly)
My bo-k will look like the one below (except I will add a little stephanotis) and my BMs will have opposite colors, opposite flowers (Ivory roses, burgunday callas)
